Coloured TV introduced - by Beatriz Gonçalves

 Hello everybody,

I hope you are all doing great.

So, the toppic I am going to be approaching is the coloured TV introduced.

The earliest mention of coloured television was actually in a 1904 German patent for a color television system.

In 1925, a russian inventor, named Vladimir K. Zworykin, also filed a patent disclosure for an all-electronic color television system.

While both of these designs were not successful, they were the first documented proposals for this technology.

Somewhere between 1946 and 1950, the research staff of RCA Laboratories invented the world's first electronic, color television system, a successful color television system based on a system designed by RCA began commercial broadcasting on December 17, 1953.

Color television was one of the most complex and transformative technological innovations of its time, symbolizing a unique and modern form of seeing and representing.

It was, in fact, often discussed by its proponents as an ideal form of postwar consumer vision: a way of seeing the world (and all of its brightly hued goods) in a spectacular form of “living color.”

Hope you liked this.

See you next time,

Beatriz Gonçalves
